About Us

Nguyen CPA Firm PLLC is a boutique CPA firm specializing in tax planning, bookkeeping, and financial strategies for business owners and professionals. We are expanding and seeking a dedicated Tax Preparer/Assistant to join our team in-office.

Key Responsibilities

-          Tax Filing: Collect client data, prepare, and review individual and business tax returns using Drake software.

-          Tax Resolution: Research issues and assist clients in resolving IRS tax problems.

-          Tax & Financial Planning: Support compliance and assist with planning strategies.

-          Bookkeeping & Payroll: Provide monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll support, and adjustments as needed.

-          Client Service: Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient client service delivery.

-          Administrative Support: Handle additional administrative tasks to support the firm’s operations.

Requirements

✔️ 3–5 years of tax preparation experience (EA credential preferred)
✔️ Proficient with Drake Tax Software
✔️ Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
✔️ Comfortable working with numbers and math on a daily basis
✔️ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
✔️ Quick-minded and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
✔️ Demonstrates careful judgment and sound decision-making
✔️ Takes initiative and shows interest in learning new concepts
✔️ Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions
